Shortly after Michael Jackson's death, Debbie Rowe sent emails to her best friend Rebecca White. So much for a best friend because Rebecca White sat down with Extra to talk about Debbie's intentions in fighting for custody of the children. If you didn't hate Debbie Rowe already, after reading excerpts of her emails you will.

In an email dated July 2, 2009, Rowe appears to be conflicted about going after the kids:
Rowe to White: "I'm not going after custody. These kids are not mine. They were never mine. They were always Michael's. I was Michael's best friend."

So, why does White say Rowe is seeking custody?
White: "Because I think things change on a daily basis...It's not like she doesn't love them. It's not like she doesn't want the best for them, but her life is different...The idea of being a mother to those children is something I don't think she really wants. She can't just sit back in the shadows and not say anything because then she will be looked at as the woman who gave up her children and that's a horrible thing to say....She had to do something to protect them in a way."

Rowe confirms these sentiments in an email to White dated July 5, 2009:
Rowe to White: "My lawyer is telling me I have to take some responsibility about the welfare of the children. Do I want the kids? Hell no. Does it look good for me to ask for them? Absolutely. I don't want to look like the woman who gave away her kids and just forgot about them. Would Michael want Joe to have them? I think it would be the last thing that he would ever have wanted."

If Rowe doesn't want to be a mother, why does White believe she's seeking custody?
White: "The motivation is money. I really have to be honest...If the children aren't the ones she wants, what else will she gain from it?"

Is a secret custody deal in the works?
White: "Yes, absolutely. In one text message she had just said, 'Just wait until the 14th. Everything will be done after the 14th'...There's definitely going to be a secret deal. There's definitely going to be a settlement that's going to come out of this."

SMFH. I hoesntly hate Debbie Rowe for asking to have custody of her kids just because it would look good. On top of that, she KNEW there would be money involved that would benefit her. I'm glad her 'bets friend' revealed everything even though it just made me hate Debbie more.

Jon Gosselin decided to open up about the new woman in his life, Hailey Glassman in the lastest issue of People Magazine.

Via E! News:

"Hailey and I have been family friends for several years and only very recently began dating. What began as friendship has grown into something more. I genuinely enjoy spending time with her. It's nice to be with someone who I can confide in and trust and who accepts me for who I am," Jon explained.

Now, the TLC reality star understands that parading around the French Riviera with some new ladyfriend right after filing for divorce is kind of a douche move, but he just wants everyone to understand he's a regular guy and that's what regular guys do to move forward.

"I know that my decision to appear publicly with Hailey this weekend will be scrutinized, but I hope that people can see I'm a regular guy who is going through a very difficult time in [my] life and wants to move forward."

However, Jon denies any engagement plans to the mag, "No. We're just having a cool time and enjoying each other."

It's honestly about time Jon was just open with the world about his damn life. He needed to stop lying about his new realtionship because the world already knew what it was.

Looks like Janet Jackson is now pushing to get custody of Michael Jackson's children Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket. According to OK Magazine:

"All three want Janet to read to them at night," a Jackson family friend says. "They just melt into her arms when she walks into the house." The feeling is mutual, adds the insider. "Janet has completely bonded with those children in the last two weeks," the friend continues. "She has been their rock. It's clear to everyone that they are looking to her for comfort and guidance."

One concern raised is that at 79, caring for three kids might be too much for Katherine, a problem eased by Janet's presence. "Janet is not only willing to raise those children, she is also the only relative who knows how to protect them," the insider tells OK!. "Janet knows the value of a private life and knows how to keep her personal life out of the news. She is determined to do that for Michael's children. She is saying that he would want no less for them, pointing out how far he went to shelter them."

This is probably the best thing for Michael's children at this point in the game.

The daughter of the infamous Donald Trump is on the road to getting married. Ivanka Trump got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Jared Kushner, last night. The couple had been dating since 2007. They broke up for a brief period of time, then got back together in July of 2008. Ivanka even converted to Judaism for Kushner.

Ivanka wrote on her Twitter early this morning: “I got engaged last night…truly the happiest day of my life!!!”

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow knows best that Hollywood-type relationships are the ones that don't usually last. In her GOOP newsletter, Gwyneth gives readers long-term relationship advice.

“A long-term relationship between two people is an ever-evolving organism. Some stay the course, some fall, all stumble.”

“asked a few very wise women, most of whom are in varying forms of longtime partnerships, for their insights.”

She asked for the insights of Monica Berg, a spiritual teacher and creative director at L.A.’s Kabbalah Center.

"There are no stable marriages. There may be happy ones, but not stable ones. Either we are growing forward or falling backwards. This is true in all areas of our life … which is why I believe nurturing relationships is so important. We owe it to ourselves and those we love not to settle for mediocrity in any way, and instead to nurture and allow our relationships to become the source of joy, support and love that they were intended to be," Berg advised.

Gwyneth was previously engaged to Brad Pitt and also dated Ben Affleck until finally settling down with her now-husband of five years, Chris Martin.
