Queen Latifah is baaacckkkkk! At the 15th annual Essence Musical Festival in New Orleans, Queen Latifah revealed her excitement for her upcoming project that's scheduled to be released in August. The title of her project will be Persona. This album will be influenced by the genres of rock, dance, reggae, and hip-hop.

The lead single on Persona will be a track named 'Cue The Rain' which is partially produced by Dr. Dre. Another artist who she's working with is rumored to be Missy Elliot.

Latifah also revealed that she plans to 'rejuvenate the female rapper scene' which has been taken over by over-sexed driven female sex kittens lacking real skills on the mic.

Well Queen Latifah, we'll be waiting to see how this 'rejuvenation' turns out.

In Arkansas, where rapper T.I. is serving his jail sentence, is allowing visitation again. Visitation for the prison was shut down due to a gastrointestinal virus scare. Over 158 inmates reported having the signs of the gastrointestinal virus. Only one prisoner actually confirmed having the virus and not just showing symptoms of possibly having it.

The 'real' Perez Hilton was revealed in the latest issue of The Advocate. He revealed that he wanted to call Will.I.Am. the 'n-word' after their public feud. Below is an excerpt from his spread in The Advocate.
